Lee Griffiths

I started my career in ICP-MS in 1991 in Winsford, England which is the manufacturing home of the VG ICP-MS. I was employed as an installation engineer until 1993 when I moved to California to become the service engineer for all VG ICPMS instruments in the North West of the USA. In 1997 I moved to Massachusetts to become one of two tech support engineers responsible for the day to day running of the service department.

In April 2002 the ICP-MS service department was moved to Madison, WI. Deciding that Madison was not for me, I left Thermo and started Ionflight.

The knowledge and experience I have gained over the last 11 years has taught me that there is a big difference between just doing a job and doing a job well. I have always strived to make customer satisfaction my number one priority and I feel that I can improve this further, now that I am independent.

Brian Rietel

My experience with ICP-MS instrumentation began in 1995 when I was hired by Fisons Instruments as an ICP-MS field service engineer. Fisons Instruments had recently bought the VG Elemental line of Plasmaquad ICP-MS's, the PQ1 and PQ2, and sold them under the Fisons name until the late 1990's when Thermo Electron bought the ICP-MS line.

Since 1995 I have applied my in-depth factory training and real-world experience on servicing the entire Elemental line of ICP-MS products including the PQ1, PQ2, PQ3, ExCell, Axiom, and the new X-Series. I believe my backgrounds in electronics and chemistry (B.S. Chemistry) make me a strong asset to Ionflight and my goal is to provide the best possible service for our customers.

Seth Revilla

I was hired by VG Elemental/Fisons in April 1992 after receiving my degree in electrical engineering (BSEE). Previously, I worked as an analytical chemist for 6 years after obtaining a B.S. in chemistry. As a field service engineer based on the west coast of the USA I developed an expertise on the whole ICPMS product line including the latest x-series. Throughout that time I approached each service call with customer satisfaction as my number one priority and this mindset has served my employer and I very well.

I joined Ionflight because my continued goal of providing quality service would now be better served here.
